I've been listening to and producing drum and bass for about 8 years now and I seriously do not understand sub genres. I like heavy stuff, I like light stuff, I like serious stuff, I like goofy stuff. I understand that sub genres exist for a reason, but I also feel like they're killing the industry. Oh, also Clownstep.

Also the Pandemic helped boost Ambient and Downtempo styles into a resurgence.
